FAQ's

  • Click the "I lost an item" button on the FOUNDSPOT homepage.

  • Follow the 4 simple registration steps by providing details about the lost item, the date and location where it was lost, and your contact information. The more details you provide, the easier it will be to locate your belonging.

  • If your item is found by Air Europa’s designated staff, it will be registered in FOUNDSPOT, and the system will detect matches with your report. You will receive an email to confirm and proceed with the shipping of your item.

  • Note: Official identification documents, such as passports, ID cards, or residence permits, are handed over directly to airport authorities.

  • It may take up to 1 day for Air Europa’s designated staff to collect lost items from the aircraft and deliver them to the handling office, where they are registered in FOUNDSPOT.

    When you receive the match email and confirm the match, click "Proceed to Shipping" and complete the form, including your payment details. You will receive your item at the address you provide.

    All items left behind by customers on Air Europa flights are registered on the FOUNDSPOT platform. If you haven’t received a match notification, it means the item hasn’t been found.

    Authorized Air Europa staff are responsible for collecting, transporting, storing, and returning lost items, as well as arranging their final delivery.

    FOUNDSPOT provides Air Europa with an automation platform to optimize and streamline the return process.

    It is not possible to pick up your item in person, as it is stored in a restricted access area. Shipping via courier is mandatory.

    The shipping cost depends on the delivery destination and the type of service (standard or premium). Once you complete the shipping form, you’ll see the cost in the "Shipping Summary."

    Once the payment is completed, you will receive an email with the tracking number for your package, allowing you to check its status and location at any time.

    It is advisable to check if the item to be shipped has any restrictions or import taxes in the destination country. Electronic devices, such as phones, tablets, and laptops, may be subject to additional cus-toms checks in certain countries.

    You can track your shipment using the tracking number and the tracking link you’ll receive via email once your shipping request is completed.

    Delivery times vary depending on the destination and type of service (standard or premium). Specific transit times will appear in the "Shipping Summary" once you complete the form.
